Our names are Yannick van Dorst(on the left) and Xiano Tellieu(on the right), we come from Campus GO ! Erasmus, a school in Belgium, Zelzate. We are 17 and 19 years old and we are on an internship in Lyon in France.

The main purpose of our internship at Lycée Colbert is to carry out administrative work in the service of the manager and the Training Director, and in the service of GRETA for Xiano. The reason we are here is because we are trying to improve our French and get some work experience in a  different country. Right now it is a little bit hard to communicate with everyone because our French is bad and not everyone speaks English but it always works out one way or another. We are also having a lot of fun working at Lyceé Colbert.

Our end goal is to go home and having more knowledge of the French language and to be a bit more confident when working and when working with people who don’t speak the same language as us and having more proffesional administration skills like writing articles, answer e-mails and inform users.

Nous nous appelons Yannick van Dorst (à gauche) et Xiano Tellieu (à droite), nous venons du Campus GO ! Erasmus, une école en Belgique, Zelzate. Nous avons 17 et 19 ans et nous sommes en stage à Lyon en France.

Notre stage au Lycée Colbert a pour but principal de réaliser du travail administratif dans le service du gestionnaire et de le Directrice Déléguée aux Formations pour ma part, et au service du GRETA pour Xiano.

Nous essayons également d'améliorer notre français et d'acquérir une expérience de travail dans un autre pays.

A ce jour, c'est un peu difficile de communiquer parce que notre français est mauvais et que tout le monde ne parle pas anglais, mais ça marche toujours d'une manière ou d'une autre. Nous prenons également beaucoup de plaisir à travailler au Lycée Colbert.

Notre objectif final est de rentrer chez nous avec plus de connaissances sur la langue française et d’être un peu plus confiant et particulièrement lorsque nous travaillons avec des personnes qui ne parlent pas la même langue.

Nous espérons acquérir des compétences administratives plus professionnelles comme rédiger des articles, répondre à des mails ou renseigner les usagers.
